Founded in 2012 by Ananya Rathore, Ochre House emerged from a deep reverence for Rajasthan's architectural legacy and a belief that great interiors must carry a cultural soul.
We are a boutique design studio of 25+ specialists — architects, interior designers, 3D artists, site engineers and master karigars — who work in close collaboration on every project from concept to completion.
Our studio in Bani Park, Jaipur, is itself a testament to what we do: hand-painted frescos, arched doorways, hand-knotted Dhurrie rugs and warm terracotta walls that welcome every client who walks through our doors.
Every project begins with Rajasthan's architectural grammar — the arch, the jali, the jarokha, the kund. We don't apply heritage as decoration; we build from it.

Ananya Rathore established Ochre House with a small team of three in a restored haveli studio in Bani Park, with a vision to bring Rajasthani heritage design to modern homes.
Completed our first boutique hotel conversion — a 200-year-old haveli in the walled city — which went on to win the IIID Rajasthan Award for Heritage Restoration.
The "Amber House" residential project was featured in Architectural Digest India's annual design special, putting Ochre House on the national luxury design map.
Opened our second studio in Delhi NCR to serve the growing demand for heritage-inspired interiors from clients in India's metro cities.
Completed our 100th project — a 32-room palace hotel in Jaisalmer — celebrated by the entire team and our network of 80+ artisan collaborators.
Today we have completed over 300 projects, grown to a 25-person studio, and continue to be recognized as one of India's finest heritage interior design firms.
